The Great Mother archetype exists in all traditions and is as ancient as consciousness itself. As an archetype, the Great Mother's qualities are inherently expansive, anti-oppressive, generative, creative, centered on power-within (rather than over), anti-patriarchal, and intelligent.
The work of the Sacred Circle is to awaken the Great Mother archetype within ourselves and our world.
