Wraps, scarves, shawls, tapestries, wall hangings, big or small. There are almost no limits on what can be created.
The wrap you see was made from memorable clothing, one ocean tapestry includes the collector’s shells, the other both shells and dried flowers, and the chakra tapestry was made from the hand-dyed fiber of the collector. The longer warp is a piece created for a bride to be using fabrics passed down through her family line. The yellow and orange shawl is a celebration shawl created for a birthday. What could you have made just for you?

As each is entirely unique, please contact me and we will plan together! It is my true delight to make memory shawls, scarfs, wraps and tapestries, to repurpose old clothing by weaving it into new and wearable clothing, by taking old fabrics, tablecloths, scraps and found pieces and making wall-hangings or tapestries to enjoy every day. There is almost no limit to what’s possible!

Sam created a wedding shower gift of dreams! She wove family history into a gorgeous useful and lush shawl for the bride, who brought it all the way to Europe and included it in her wedding celebrations. Sam was thoughtful and responsive as an artist and weaver, asking questions and offering options at each step of the process. I swear to goodness there is love woven directly into the artwork. I already have a new request for her.
