A joyful, colorful, warm and abundant scarf, this piece can work as scarf, wrap or shawl. It was inspired by some of my favorite artists and made with lots of joy and energy, finished on Imbolc, or Saint Brigid’s day, an ancient feast day heralding the dawn of spring! And it is, in fact, very spring like. Made with a warm, thick warp thread and woven with different fibers and ribbon in the weft makes it versatile, seasonal and cozy.
This piece is handwash preferred but can do the delicate cycle in a washing machine, air dry.
Because it is mixed fiber there is some small amount of wool in one of the yarns. If you are allergic to yarn, this one isn’t for you!
As all my pieces it is woven intuitively, with love in the Saori style. “Imperfections” or “mistakes” are considered part of the beauty and organic nature of the cloth, making it truly one of a kind.
Local delivery and pick up is available. Shipping is extra and will be calculated at the time the piece is finished and weighed.

When I first saw these wonderful creations, I immediately thought of them as perfect Christmas gifts for my two nieces who loved their Gramma Kay. Thank you for custom designing for them. They each sit in a prominent place in their homes.
I really appreciate the two custom grandmothers you created for my nieces based on colors their beloved Gramma Kay favored. They were adorable and made memorable Christmas gifts.
I love my scarf! The colors are perfectly Me!😘
The design is exquisite and uniquely beautiful.
Wearing a piece of art feels very special, and knowing the artist, dear extraordinary Sam, also makes it more magical for I can “feel” the energetic qualities and prayers infused in the weaving!💜
I can’t take my eyes off this beautiful piece of art!
Sam created a wedding shower gift of dreams! She wove family history into a gorgeous useful and lush shawl for the bride, who brought it all the way to Europe and included it in her wedding celebrations. Sam was thoughtful and responsive as an artist and weaver, asking questions and offering options at each step of the process. I swear to goodness there is love woven directly into the artwork. I already have a new request for her.
