Please specify your color preference in the notes when you order: blue, aqua, purple, pink, yellow, cream, etc. I can work with almost any color palette. Please also specify your size. This dress is mostly one size fits all up to size 16.
The Moon Dress is a handwoven, heirloom quality piece of wearable art that will be the most one of a kind statement in your wardrobe. If you’ve never had a custom handwoven dress made for you, it’s a wonderful and nurturing experience.
Each dress is handwoven in my studio in Western Massachusetts. I am dedicated to making sure everyone who purchases my weaving loves it as much as I do and you’ll see from my shop reviews that each piece is woven with love, healing and a touch of magic.

Woven from a mix of fibers with rayon chenille dominating to give it a delightful swing, easy weight and soft texture.
Each custom dress will be 100% unique. You may have a moon if you wish–or not. The dress is created in the Saori style so 100% of what is woven is used to create the piece with the least amount of cuts possible. This makes it a one-of-a-kind.
The price DOES NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING. Expect an additional cost after purchase of 8-12$ depending on location.
Dress is handwash or machine wash gentle, lay flat to dry.

Sam created a wedding shower gift of dreams! She wove family history into a gorgeous useful and lush shawl for the bride, who brought it all the way to Europe and included it in her wedding celebrations. Sam was thoughtful and responsive as an artist and weaver, asking questions and offering options at each step of the process. I swear to goodness there is love woven directly into the artwork.
