This vibrant, rich cloth makes a perfect small table runner, altar cloth, or accent piece for a desktop, bureau or table. Or hang it on a stick and make a tapestry. It is woven on a rayon chenille warp and it’s weft is made entirely from repurposed fabric! This gives it a wonderful density, weight and texture.
It was completed on the ancient holy day, Ostara, which we now call Easter and is imbued with all those regenerative qualities of spring. A true original, it magic is all about using what we have and creating new energy and new life.

When I first saw these wonderful creations, I immediately thought of them as perfect Christmas gifts for my two nieces who loved their Gramma Kay. Thank you for custom designing for them. They each sit in a prominent place in their homes.

Sam created a wedding shower gift of dreams! She wove family history into a gorgeous useful and lush shawl for the bride, who brought it all the way to Europe and included it in her wedding celebrations. Sam was thoughtful and responsive as an artist and weaver, asking questions and offering options at each step of the process. I swear to goodness there is love woven directly into the artwork. I already have a new request for her.
