You will live in this gorgeous, soft, luxury fiber wrap. With a weft entirely of my own handspun soft wool and angora, it is woven on a silky bamboo warp. This gives it movement and drape while remaining so warm and cozy. The feeling of this scarf and the weight of it are exquisite (soft to the skin wool, but it is wool in case you have an allergy!). The cream, gray and browns are all naturally occurring (undyed) which contributes to the overall softness and suppleness of the wrap. Long enough and wide enough to be wrap, shawl or scarf.
10.5X77. Handwash cool water. Lay flat or hang to dry. (Pre-washed to reduce shrinkage.)

I can’t take my eyes off this beautiful piece of art!
Sam created a wedding shower gift of dreams! She wove family history into a gorgeous useful and lush shawl for the bride, who brought it all the way to Europe and included it in her wedding celebrations. Sam was thoughtful and responsive as an artist and weaver, asking questions and offering options at each step of the process. I swear to goodness there is love woven directly into the artwork. I already have a new request for her.
I took this class last winter and I look forward to taking it again this fall! Its an intentional meditation practice (both the meditation AND the weaving) but you learn a craft too! And create a beautiful object that is meaningful! While I had done various arts and crafts as a child- I was new to weaving. I was surprised how quickly the skills came with Sam’s guidance. Can’t wait to take it again! Hope to see you there.

Sam and goat yoga is amazing! Sam’s class has allowed me to become grounded in myself, connect with earth and living beings all at once. After being in a state of high anxiety constantly, this class is has been a blessing. I highly recommend this class to anyone seeking the same peace.
