How would you like a new, inspiring way of creating that you can do at home? In the magical, tactile, colorful world of fiber and fabric collage you will come alive. You don’t need to be artsy, or crafty, or artistic. But you should plan to be playful, have some fresh ideas, and go deep.

I am a nationally juried fiber artist and author and this is the online version of my powerful in-person workshop. The workshop takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2-4:00 p.m.  Beginning with a guided, introspective journey using story to quiet the busy mind and tap into a deeper level of listening, we then move into ways to intuitively create with fiber and fabric. Last, we bloom into a time of creative making and exploration.

September’s workshop theme is “Your Story.” You’ll be working on either a single piece or a book style piece. You can glue or learn some simple stitching for your creation. We’ll be exploring listening to how our collages speak to and illumine our own stories–especially where those stories feel muddled or confused.

You will leave the workshop with your own piece to treasure and discover.
