Each unique heart is an expression of individuality and strength. Through a many step process, various yarns and fibers and cloth come together. Each heart is woven, cut, stitched, embroidered and embellished. The hearts are made to symbolize our own hearts in their brokenness and beauty.

Each heart also contains within it a small fabric heart. I was inspired by the words of poet E. E. Cummings: “I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart)”.

Hearts measure  (at their largest width and hanging from the string): 16 X 8 (orange and purple), 13 X 7.5 (purple and pink), 12 X8 (purple and turquoise)
